I feel so happy today =)
Well, let's recount what made it happen.
Firstly, $5 KFC vouchers were given to everyone at parade today BUT i got $10 instead =) Why? cos they realised that thay had extra vouchers so they decided to have a quiz to give them all out. The question was, "Who can name the first 3 presidents in Singapore?" Obviously the first 2 stood quite obvious but people tend to skip the third president and went on to the fourth BUT i knew HAHAHAHHAHAHHA. My mum made me remember all the presidents in Singapore when i was in primary sch for social studies haha that served well. =))))))))))))))))))
Secondly, we went down to Orchard to redeem our KFC vouchers. After that went on to Borders where ladyluck laid. A group of us crowded at the entrance browsing Ripley's Believe It Or Not when a tourist asked us if we were locals and duh we said yes. Then, she handed us a $10 Borders voucher telling us that it will expire in the first week of August and she would be in London by then. Haha so we said thanks. =) I used the voucher to purchase HP: The Half-Blood Prince. It cost 20 bucks but after deduction i just had to pay another 10 it was worthed it =)))))))))))))))
Thirdly, I FINALLY FOUND HERMIONE'S WAND TOGETHER WITH ALL THE OTHER HP WANDS. Man, i finally found a place that sells it and it's all thanks to gabriel. wooohoo and i preordered it cos it was out of stock. 81 bucks after 10% discount for preordering. =)))))))) gotta start my $1.60 lunch again.
